About

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University and am a national certified counselor (NCC). I am also an EMDR Institute trained EMDR therapist.  I have experience in a variety of settings from hospital to private practice and work with adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. I have a passion to help those who encounter stress and problematic patterns of behavior that interfere with their individual, relational and career aspirations.

I take a diverse therapeutic approach tailored to the wants and needs of my clients. I draw from behavioral therapies, as well as interpersonal and client-centered interventions to help my clients gain insight and implement a plan to overcome their life challenges. I also enjoy working with clients who consider faith to be an integral part of their worldview.

I am constantly amazed at how people can live through really difficult experiences and still be determined to improve themselves and their circumstances. I strive to honor the humanity in everyone I encounter and love to help my clients identify and access their innate strengths and build on them.
